I enjoy baking , especially buns and breads!!!!!
today I'm going to show you homemade Burger buns......these buns are very soft and yummy.few days back I baked this beautiful and tasty buns to make veg burger. Which I'm going to share with you soon.when I started baking I stopped buying those bakery buns which are not at all soft in my place.
Whenever I bake buns my house is filled with nice aroma, try this recipe I'm sure you gonna love it too..... :)
Then let's get started........
Ingredients :
All purpose flour / maida : 4 cups + extra for dusting
Sugar : 1/2 cup
Salt : 1 to 1/2 tspoon
Yeast : 2 tspoon
Warm water : 1 cup or as required
Milk powder : 2 table spoons
sesme seeds : 2 table spoons
Oil / melted butter : 1/2 cup
Preparation :
1) first take warm water (not hot) in a bowl add Yeast ,1 table spoon of sugar mix it well and keep a side for 10 to 15 minutes.
2)take mixing bowl add flour,sugar,salt,milk powder and mix it well.
3)make a well in middle of the flour add Yeast mixture and oil, start kneading.
4)dough should be sticky so , if requires add some more water and start kneading.
5)if you are kneading with hands knead for 15 to 20 minutes or if you are kneading with hand mixer 10 minutes is enough.
6)now make a soft dough and apply oil to mixing bowl place dough in it and cover with cling wrap or muslin cloth.put in warm place for 1 hour or till it raises into double in size.
7)now our dough had raised well. Punch down the air .
8)to a clean surface sprinkle some flour And knead the dough for 2 to 3 minutes and cut into equal parts.
9) take a lined baking tray.
10)take a small portion of dough and roll them into balls. (apply some oil or flour to your hands While making balls) arrange them in baking tray cover with muslin cloth.
11)now put this tray in warm place for 1 hour or till it gets double volume.
12)preheat oven in 200 degrees Celsius
13)apply some milk gently on buns and sprinkle sesme seeds.
14)bake buns in 180 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes.
15)let it cool completely and enjoy fluffy and tasty homemade Burger buns.
