Imli Ki Meethi Chutney / Tamarind Sweet Chutney Recipe




Imli ki meethi chutney/tamarind sweet chutney........without this chutney we can't imagine our street food..........whenever we go for shopping we eat some chat from roadside shops, he drizzle this chutney on top of Samosa or papdi chat that taste is amazing!!!!!!! Mouthwatering Na?????

             So,today I'm going to show you best imli ki meethi chutney recipe.this is so simple and easy to make.so,make your own sweet tamarind chutney at home....


             I prepared this chutney to top ragada patties (I'm going to share it soon) I will store this in refrigerator for later use.


              This chutney very important in every Indian street food like dahi poori,papdi chat,samosa,kachori etc., (I'm going to post all these recipes here,so keep checking my blog posts)

 Ingredients :

Tamarind juice : 1 cup
Sugar : 3/4 cup
Chat masala : 2 tea spoons
Chilly powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Salt : 1/2 tea spoon
Cumin seeds : 1 tea spoon
Fennel seeds /sounf : 2 tea spoon
Red food color : pinch (optional)

 Method :

First slightly roast cumin and fennel seeds for few seconds and let it cool completely

Now blend these seeds into fine powder and keep a side

Now pour tamarind juice in a pan add all ingredients and roasted and blended powder and mix well

Now put this pan on flame and start cooking

Stir continuously till it becomes thick and switch off the flame (we should switch off the flame when mixture should is little bit thick consistency)


Let it cool completely and store in a airtight jars

Now your imli ki meethi chutney is ready!!!
 roast cumin and fennel seeds and blend it
 Add all ingredients and mix well
 add food color (optional)
 Cook by stirring continuously and switch off the flame
Imli ki chutney is ready!!!!!
